During the meeting a number of issues connected with legislative support for development of science and innovational activity were discussed. Attention was focused on necessity to develop the Strategy of scientific-technical and innovational development of Ukraine, implementation of top priority directions, necessity to increase financing of scientific activity, introduction of state measures of support of this sphere and establishing an infrastructure for innovation development.
Participants of the meeting stressed the need to activate further cooperation between the State Agency and people’s deputies of the Committee in regard to issues pertaining to preparation of legislative acts on development of science and innovation activity as well as holding hearings in the Committee “On the state and legislative support for funding of science and scientific and technical activity in Ukraine” on February 13, 2013.
